Marinade for Steak I

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2009
The steaks had a wierd taste and when cooking it the oil sizzled all over and made a mess - I made it on my GF grill. I had to constantly check it because it was more like frying then grilling. We did not care for this marinade at all. I will not be making this again.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2008
I used 1 Ham steak cut up. When making the Roux I let the butter and flour get a nice cream color before adding the milk. I used 1 1/2 cups of 1% milk and 1/2 cup whipping cream. Then I cooked until it was nice and thick. I thinly shredded some marble jack cheese to add when served. Delicious !!!!

Home Style Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2008
I used 8 ounces macaroni (1 1/2 cups) and made according to recipe without the bread crumb topping. It was super good. Next time I make it I will add more cheese and not bake it - baking it kinda dried it out and I like it nice and creamy. Thank you for sharing your recipe.

This was great for making BLT's. The bacon came out nice and crisp and all done at the same time. I lined it with foil and cooked it at 400 - turned and drained it twice. It took about a half hour. Thank you for sharing your recipe :)

Very easy to make and tasted great. I used salsa because thats what I had. I thought it was a 4 star the day I made it and a 5 star the next day when had the leftovers - My husband who is very picky said it was a 2 star the first day and 3 star the next. Its gets better as the flavor melds. yumm !! Thank you for sharing your recipe :)

I cut up potatoes and fried them. Then added chopped green onions. I cut up a ham steak and added frozen corn. I made the sauce in the same pan I fried the potatoes in and added 1 cup of cheddar cheese - when the cheese was melted in I poured that over the top and baked it.

Fancy Potatoes

Reviewed: May 15, 2008
I boiled 5 huge potatoes, Whipped them up with the cream cheese and sour cream. Then I mixed in the garlic powder and a bunch of green onions, and the cheddar cheese. Then baked - I don't know how long - I wanted the top crisp so the last 5 minutes I turned the oven up to 375. They were SO DELICIOUS !!! If you try these don't forget to add the green onions (or Chives) because it made a BIG difference.(Also 1 Pkg of cream cheese is plenty) These are Super Yummy !!!

Savory Italian Sausage Sauce

Reviewed: May 6, 2008
This was a Great Sauce!!! I used italian link sausage, sliced and browned with the garlic. I used portabella mushrooms because that is what I had. I used 1/4 cup of wine and 3/4 cup water. I used less wine because I only had red cooking wine and I know it is stronger and saltier then regular red wine.Update- I made this again and had everything except used Italian diced tomatoes and got brave and used the half cup of Red cooking wine and it was super - It makes the perfect amount of sauce.
