Apple Brickle Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2012
I went to a get together last night where everyone brought something, and this was such a hit! It is definitely different from the standard fruit dip. My only suggestion would be to make it a little thicker somehow. Thanks!

Lip-Smacking Popcorn Concoction

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
This is so yummy! Just a note: don't be a dummy like me and dump the bag of popcorn into the bowl, or you will have popcorn kernels in your mix! It seems to be more manageable to cut this recipe in half just for the shear size it is all together. Awesome!

Overnight Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2008
I wanted to bake coffee cakes for neighbors for Christmas and decided to try this one. Instead of one pan, I made the recipe exactly as written and divided it into two loaf pans. I used Ducky's topping (with a little extra browm sugar), and they turned out great! It made a medium sized loaf (it rises, but is not super tall) and the drizzled icing on a Christmas plate made a great presentation. Fortunately one crumbled in half, so we devoured it warm - just yummy!! If you do it in loaf pans, make sure to grease the pans well so it will stay together when you remove it. I baked them immediately and after being in the fridge overnight, and they turned out equally well.

Mushroom Crusted Ham and Cheese Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2007
Loved this recipe!!! I made it for Easter brunch, and the mushroom crust is awesome! I used lo-fat cream cheese (Alouette makes lo-fate herb and garlic)and sauteed and added the extra onions I had chopped to the ham and cheese mixture. Next time I will try fewer bread crumbs or the toasted whole wheat bread, but it was delicious as is!

Hot Onion Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2004
Thanks for a great recipe! I baked it in individual ramekins (I had to broil it a minute at the end to brown it), and it was a great hit! Great with melba toast.

BBQ Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2004
This was very good - husband and all children loved it. I used a store-bought pizza crust, but I think I would do homemade or Pillsbury next time. I sprinkled the cilantro on top for a pretty presentation.

Bubble Pizza

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2004
I made this without the ground beef - just layered the quartered biscuits, then pizza quick sauce, then mozzarrella, then pepperoni (with onions and mushrooms on the grown-up's side). It was DELICIOUS and very easy!! The kids and dad loved it, and I will definitely make again.
