Fresh Herbed Halibut

I do not like fish. This was my first halibut recipe ever. It was DELICIOUS and SOOOOOOOOOOOO easy!

Chinese Chicken Rice Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2007
I dunno, something just wasn't cohesive with this for me. Maybe I chose the wrong kind of brown rice or something, but it was kind of mushy and was just weird.

Potato Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2007
REALLY good! It was helpful to read the reviews before hand. Note: It will create a lot of "juice" between all the veggies and the marinara sauce, but it was wasn't runny. My guests loved it. Left a clean 9x13!

Tortellini Pasta Salad

I like snow peas, but they seemed too big for the rest of the pasta salad, but tastes good. :)

Antipasto Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2006
A little "vinagery" for my taste and it seemed like a bit too much pepperoni, but it was really good, pretty easy and got good reviews.

King Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2011
This was my first I'd ever made! It was hard to get the pieces wide enough for the filling without it oozing out, BUT was delicious nonetheless! I got lots of compliments and the filling was great. I did use my own frosting though -- great cake! Someone even told me it was better than one they'd had that was store bought.

Salmon Rosemary Burgers

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
The boyfriend approves, I approve, we're good! Good flavor, easy to make, they didn't crumble apart. I just cooked them on the stove top since it is cold out here in Alaska! I've made salmon burgers before, but I think I would use THIS recipe again instead of the one I'd used before!

Chicken Pita and Yogurt Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2003
Ewwww, it was REALLY weird. Plus, the measurements didn't really seem to fit the dish, it looked awkward and tasted so odd. We didn't know how to eat it.

London Broil II

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2011
Let me put it like this. The boy comes home and says "I'm not really hungry, but I'll try a few bites." Then he proceeds to eat his whole portion AND gives me two compliments. TWO!! It's a winner as far as I'm concerned.

Clam Sauce with Linguine

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2010
Mine got sticky so I think some olive oil would have been a good addition, but we did enjoy it and would make it again. I'm not sure how it would have been with canned clams, but we used razor clams we'd harvested/dug ourselves and it was yummy.

Delicious Feta-Crusted Salmon

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2010
Very good. Though I would prefer it with less dijon mustard, the boyfriend loved it that way. The taste was strong enough to match the salmon and it was easy and tasty!

Shrimp and Crab Enchiladas

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2010
Um, YUMMY! Living in Alaska we were so excited to use our crab meat. My boyfriend is fond of Tex-Mex and well, it was a hit! We made it just as listed and it was good! Would make again -- but leaving out the green enchilada sauce -- just wasn't our favorite!

I don't really like scallops, so I left those out. It was easy and really good! Even my cook-snob boyfriend said he liked it!

Blue Cheese Walnut Toasts

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2007
The bleu cheese didn't melt quite as much as I had anticipated it would, but they practically flew off the platter. If I were just making them for me I'd have nixed the walnuts, but that is just me.
