Cheeseburger and Fries Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2011
I was excited because the concept sounded good. I follwed the recipe to a tee because I was mainly making it so that my 3 year old would eat it. The casserole came out soggy and bland and did not taste good at all. I couldn't even finish what was on my plate. My 3 year old who loves cheeseburgers and fries even pushed his plate away and asked for yogurt to eat instead. I will not be making this again.

Cheater Pot Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2011
This recipe was great for a quick meal. I did used real chicken instead of canned and added more seasoning including garlic, onion powder, parsley, and a little hot sauce. My 3 year old even asked for seconds! I did follow the advice of others and baked the bottom crust in the oven prior to placing the filling.

Incredibly Cheesy Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2009
I am not a meatloaf fan, but I thought this might be OK due to the cheese chunks. The meatloaf turned out very breadcrumb tasting and dry. I even added extra seasoning like garlic powder, parsely, and oregano. It took almost 2 hours to bake and I had even allowed extra time. It also made a mess out of my oven. Needless to say, this recipe has not changed my mind about meatloaf.

Iowa Pork Steak

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2009
I followed the advice of some of the other members and cooked this in the slowcooker for 6 hours. The pork was so tender, it fell apart. Even my 2 year-old ate it.

Better Than Sex Cake II

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
This cake turned out great. I followed the suggestions of some of the other reiveiwers and it held together well. I did cut the oil in half and omitted the condensed milk. As soon as it was out of the oven, I poked holes using a chopstick and poured the caramel topping (at room temp) right on the cake. Once it was cooled completely, I frosted it with Cool Whip and drizzled chocoalate syrup on top. Everybody at worked loved it!

Mojo Grilling Marinade

My husband used this marinade on steak and shroom kabobs we had the other night and it was excellent! He did omit the orange juice and it still tasted good! We will use this marinade again!

Chocolate Earthquake Cake II

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2006
I made this cake for someone's birthday at work, and it was hit. The cake was gone by lunch time. I did find that it was not completely baking at 325 degrees. I baked it at 325 degrees for 45 mins and 20 mins at 350 degrees and it baked well.

This recipe was good. I omitted the onions and topped the casserole with feta cheese crumbles. The feta cheese added a wonderful taste.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2003
I found that these bars were just an easy way out of making your standard chocolate chip cookie. They were hard and baked unevenly. And I found that they did not have much flavor.
