Very good. I used skim milk to make a lower fat version. Fresh mushrooms are also a nice touch.

New York Rye Bread

As others sis I upped the water. I actually started with 1 and 1/4 cup and added another tbs after that. I also upped the oil as suggested by one review to 1/4 cup. Then as another reveiwer sugested I went with 2 cups rye and 1 2/3 cup regular flour turned out great.

Apple Crisp II

The first time I made according to the recipe. It was way way WAY too sweet. I cut sugar in half as was suggested. It was still quite sweet. I also added 1/2 cup oc chopped walnuts and used smart balance butter spread in place of butter. It was excellent with the modifications. Original ** with less suger *****

Italian Spaghetti with Ham

For those of you concerned about raw eggs, try substituting egg beaters or pasteurized eggs. And, just a quick note, commercially purchased mayo has been pasteurized, so not really a good comparison there.

Easy Sugar Cookies

WOW! Worked out great for Christmas cookies. These are great! Use lots of flour on the surface on which you are working to keep it from sticking. I also cooled it over night before baking.

Chicken Pepper Steak

I doubled the veggies, added a bit of sesame oil, and cut the onion power. Also take 1/2 the corstarch and mix in with chicken.

Daria's Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

Make sure you stir the items before you cover to cook. Used low fat sour cream, and beef base instead of boullion. Very good. Will make again.

Bev's Orange Chicken

I used boneless chicken breast. Then I cut the garic powder and marinaded the breast for 3 hours, puncturing the breast to let the meat absorb the flavor. Pre-heat to 475. Put the breat on a rack, and reserve marinade. When you pout hte chicken in, drop tem to 350. Bake for 30 min. take marinate, add in 1/2 c oj, and two boullion cubes. bring to boil and thicken with cornstarc.

Roasted Pork Loin

Fantastic. Made this for the holidays, and the who family enjoyed. Do not make in a pyrex dish. The glass can shatter when you add the wine. Found out the hard way once.
