Crab and Shrimp Louis

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2004
My husband made this for a wine dinner at his restaurant. It was wonderful!! I don't like thousand island dressing... and this tasted nothing like it. I'm not sure if he changed anything in the recipe, he doesn't give up his secrets. All of the 60 poeple we served that night loved it! Thank you so much Scotty!!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2004
Absolutely, positively the best chocolate/pb cookie in the world! I've made this recipe about 10 times since I found it. I've never needed to put in the peanut butter cups... I think they would be ALMOST too sweet. We just use the chips only. I make a batch and freeze/refrigerate what I don't want. Just fine out of the freezer. Never again will I make a plain ole chocolate chip cookie again!!!! 10 stars!

Classic Fried Catfish

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2004
We're big catfish rans at our house, so I really was excited to try this one. The only thing I did different was change the seasonings. I had my hubby bring home some cajun spices from his restaurant (he's a Chef) and used them. I think most of us southerners would agree this is a good, standard catfish recipe. Good for first-timers.

Banana Nut Bread Baked in a Jar

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2004
I used my bread machine for the dough. This was my first time to make ANY sort of roll/bread. Simply the best! We are now going to have these for the holidays instead of my Granny's cresents, which we've used for over 30 years! Followed the recipe exactly, except I just used butter before and after the baking. Yum, yum, yum!!

Pumpkin Gingerbread

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2004
If you like pumpkin and gingerbread, this is the recipe for you! We had to make two batches since we ate the first one right up (none left for Xmas gifts). I made no changes to the recipe and it was perfect. Thanks for the holiday bread, Terri.

Double-Decker Fudge

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2004
This was my first time making fudge, and this was a hit at Christmas! I took the recipe and halved it; one half for the chocolate and one half for the peanut butter. It seemed to be easier than halving the fudge while it was hot. I used peanut butter instead of chips and it came out fine. We're big Reese's peanut butter cup fans and this was perfect and easy! Fantastic recipe!
