Diabetic Dog Treats
My bichon was recently diagnosed with diabetes, and he loves his treats, so I was delighted to find this recipe. I initially tried it substituting baby food for the liver. To my horror, I discovered baby food has sugar in it, so no more baby food. I have made it with lean ground beef and with chicken livers. I almost gagged with the liver thing, but the dogs like it. Think I will try chicken or turkey next. Thanks for this recipe!

Sarah's Applesauce
I discovered this recipe several years ago, and it is delicious. I used Rome apples and substituted Splenda for sugar. Also increased the amount of cinnamon, because of my personal preference. Highly recommend!

Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup
In all my years I had never tried to make homemade chicken noodle soup until I saw this recipe. I followed it exactly, and it was wonderful! I always buy fat-free, low sodium chicken broth, so saltiness was not an issue for me. It freezes well, but I try to remember to let it thaw on its own so the noodles don't get mushy from excessive additional cooking. Love it, love it! Thanks to Corwynn and her grandma!!
