Chicken and Spinach Alfredo Lasagna

Reviewed: May 4, 2007
The flavors were good but, this had wayyyy toooo much sauce. I would cut out 1 cup of cream and 1 can creamed soup.

Old Fashioned Paradise Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2006
Today is the third time I have made this pie. I wish I had come and reread the reviews before making this morning. The last two times my pie has marbled and I think that letting the cream cheese chill in the pie crust until very set is a GREAT idea. Also, pouring the top layer on extra careful would definately help. I just wanted to see if anyone else had this problem. far as everything else goes, I LOVE this pie. I double the streusal layer and today I added about 2 tablespoons of flour to pumpkin mixture to help it set a little better. This seems to do the trick as I am usually baking this pie WAY longer than recipe says. I would just plan on leaving the foil on at least an extra 15 minutes so, your crust doesn't burn if you need to contine baking pie.

Award Winning Peaches and Cream Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2005
MMMMM! I used fresh peaches and sprinkled extra sugar and cinnamon on them before I spread on the cream cheese layer. I live at 7000 feet and usually have problems with baked recipes but this turned out perfect. Maybe next time I will double the cream cheese mixture...just because I love it. Also, I used a springform cheesecake pan as I didn't have a big enough pie pan, worked great and set up very well.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2005
love this with a few alterations. I put sliced apples in a ziplock bag and shake with a bit of sugar, cinnamon, all-spice,nutmeg and cloves until covered. Then I layer into crust. Also I drizzle 3/4 of mixture over apples before I put on lattice top and then finish drizzling mixture. Sprinkle top with a few more spices (to Taste). Oh yes, don't forget to place pie on foiled covered cookie sheet or you may have the house fill with smoke as the juices run over the sides. This pie rocks!

I make these ALL the time. My husband went to school in Israel and says these are very authentic. Use a good flat bread and top w/ olives and tomatoes. Awesome!

Paul's Pumpkin Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2003
I had to make a "pumpkin" recipe for a party and found this little number. I have yet to write a review for a recipe but this was great! It is now going to be a common occurance at my house. Everyone thought it was great and it stayed moist for days. I followed the recipe exactly except I didn't have a jelly roll pan so I used a 9x13 cake pan. It was just fine as a cake...probably better. Also, the frosting recipe is the best ever. I will use it for everything. Thanks!
