Chewy Granola Bars

Yummy!!! Kids love these and they don't even realise I used whole wheat flour. Great recipe that does not use peanut butter (allergy). I used 1 cup choc chips and 1 cup marshmallows, very tasty. Loved the oatmeal consistancy, i.e. not cake like. I cut them after they had been out of the oven for approx 10 min., if not careful when taking out of the pan they broke in half. Next time, and there will be a next time, I will line pan with parch. paper.

Bread Machine Focaccia

Easy to make and the family enjoyed (even 3 young kids). I did use whole wheat flour instead of plain. I would probably enjoy the recipe better using plain flour. But still a good recipe and easy the make.

Mom's Ground Beef Casserole

Yummy!! Even my kids asked for seconds. I did have to make a few changes due to what I had on hand. I used cream of chicken soup instead of mushroom and added a few diced up canned mushroom. I also used chicken granules with water instead of the chicken and rice soup. I will definitely make again!

Mexican Cucumber Salad

Wonderful salad!! I have made several times now and everyone enjoys it. I also use fresh cilantro, not dried, 1/2 of each bell pepper and either fresh or canned tomatoes. Thanks for this keeper of a recipe.

Easy Apple Cinnamon Muffins

Yummy! I made these this morning for my son's preschool class. As others suggested I added some additional cinnamon, in addition I added a few dashes of nutmeg. I also, used half brown sugar/half regular sugar. I did not find the batter to be to thick, I mixed up the batter then let it sit while I made the topping, and it came out about the same consistancy as regular batter. Thanks for the wonderful recipe, I'll be making again for Thanksgiving morning.
