This is a great recipe for bean-less chili! I made it as written except used beef broth instead of beer.

Crispy Potato Pancakes

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2014
These were bland and I had to add two extra eggs and they were still falling apart. I will make it again, but I'm going to double the egg and add lots of seasoning to it. It also had way too much onion in it, which may be why the pancakes fell apart.

Gingerbread Pancakes

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2014
I got 30 medium-sized pancakes out of this using a 1/4 cup to measure the batter. I made it as written except I cut the baking powder in half. Great recipe except for the baking powder.

Honey Spiced Granola Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2014
I made these sugar free - edamame instead of raisins, splenda instead of brown sugar, sugar-free maple syrup instead of honey, sugar-free applesauce. Other than that, I made as written and it turned out fine.

Chef John's Turkey Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2014
I think there was too much ketchup and too much water. I used 1/2 c ketchup and 1/4 cup of water and it was still very soupy. I couldn't taste the cheese with only 1/2 c in there so I think I will leave it out next time. Other than that, great flavor and I will make it again.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2014
Thanks, this tasted just like teriyaki, although I cut down on the sugar. I am rating on flavor, not cooking technique, because I cooked it on the stove top.
