Gorgonzola Pear Pasta

I doubled the pear and didn't peel them. I used 8 oz macaroni, shredded Parmesan instead of grated, cashews instead of walnuts, and whole milk instead of whipping cream. It turned out great. Only change I would make is to triple the pear next time and more blue cheese! This has a lot of flavor for a low-sodium dish.

Thai Banana Salsa with King Prawns

I used a Serrano chile pepper, soy sauce instead of fish sauce, splenda instead of brown sugar, and ginger from a bottle. It turned out great. I halved the recipe because I figured it would not be good as a left over.

Pumpkin Flax Quickbread

This tasted great. Yes, it was gluey, but that's why the bread held together and didn't crumble and fall apart; the only way to make it un-gluey would be to add egg and butter and oil. I also remade this using 1 cup applesauce and 3/4 cup pumpkin as that was what I had. It turned out great either way. This is a great recipe that you can change to suit your needs. BE CAREFUL how long you bake this, however: I left the first loaf in for 20 minutes and it was perfect. I left the second one in for 30 minutes and it was burnt. 60-70 minutes would not have worked with my oven.

Asian Fire Meat

I left out the leek and sesame seeds. I used ground beef instead of round steak. I used splenda instead of brown sugar and olive oil instead of sesame oil. I lessened the soy sauce and increased the red pepper due to what other reviewers said.

I used 40 green, pimiento-stuffed olives, 4 roma tomatoes, and I doubled the vinegar. it was very flavorful and made 12 good-sized servings.

Gourmet Tuna Salad

I used 1/2 cup sour cream and skipped the mayonnaise. I used cashews instead of almonds and left out the capers because I didn't have any. It's pretty good, thanks for the recipe.

Avocado, Egg, and Crab Mash

Thanks for the recipe! I used sour cream instead of mayonnaise and used a whole tbs of mustard. Other than that I made it as is and ate it as is. It made a very filling breakfast.

Garlic-Lemon Mahi Filets

I cut the recipe in half and cooked it in the oven at 350 for 20 minutes. I didn't marinate it, I just threw all the ingredients in the casserole dish (I lessened the wine a little for this reason). Next time I will add tomatoes and green onions. This is a great base recipe and it's easy to throw together with ingredients you have on hand. It can be used on any fish, not just Mahi Mahi, even shrimp. I also did not find it bland as other people did. Thanks for the recipe.

These were very good. I left the cocoa out but otherwise made it as written. Please change the serving sizes. I like small cookies and don't make mine large, but I got NINE out of this, not 24. This recipe is misleading.

Graham Cracker Muffins

Thanks. This is a good recipe that doesn't involve flour. I added cloves, allspice, and cinnamon. Muffins were very small. I would say this entire recipe makes 6 normal-sized muffins, not 10.

PBJ Cupcakes - Berry Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Frosting

I used splenda and sugar free blueberry jam. I also doubled the jam and mixed it with the batter. The cupcakes turned out blue. I'm giving it 3 stars because the icing was disgusting. I ended up eating the cupcakes plain.
