Kale, Quinoa, and Avocado Salad with Lemon Dijon Vinaigrette

Wonderful recipe.....it is a complete vegetarian meal. I did make a little change though. I didn't steam kale. Instead I chopped it in food processor, and added it to rest of the salad. Second time I made it I had run out of quinoa and it was delicious even without it, but again I added chopped kale to it. To make up for quinoa's nuttiness, I added chopped walnuts and i had a very impressive, good looking gourmet salad with lots of super foods in it.

Grill Master Chicken Wings

I tried this recipe yesterday. When the wings were grilled on a gas grill, it took 30 minutes on the low flame, my kids ate them without coating them in butter and hot sauce. I omit that last step completely because we eat low sodium and that could add more to the wings. I already used low sodium soy sauce. Looks like I will drench them in hot sauce and will try adding some cayenne pepper to the marinade. Overall I liked the recipe and it is a keeper :-)

Chicken Pot Pie IX

I have been making this recipe for almost 2 years. It is every one's favorite. I did tweak it a little. One of my sons have milk allergy so I use regular sugar free soy milk instead of dairy milk. I also add two small cloves of minced garlic when the onions are half done. Also add lots of fresh thyme and a pinch of cayenne pepper. I also add two medium diced potatoes to the chicken and vegetables. I will not try any other recipe for chicken pot pie.

Pumpkin Pie Bread

Awesome recipe! First time hit, however I made couple of changes, still great! First I used half unbleached white flour and half whole wheat white flour, then I reduced the amount of sugar to two cups and added some raisins for sweetness. Even without raisins, I realized two cups of sugar would be enough! My 8 and 6 yr old love the bread it's a family fav now. Crispy from outside and moist from inside. Well keep making it.
