I made minor adjustments to both the cake and frosting recipes. I made the carrot cake more of a spice cake, adding a little ground nutmeg and allspice in addition to the cinnamon. As for the frosting, I added some maple syrup to make it a maple cream cheese frosting. It was a real big hit!
