Yum! these are kind of a pain in the posterior to make when you only have 1 small pan but everyone loved them, so it's worth it :)

Summer Corn Salad

This is a great recipe, I use rice wine vinegar & add 1 diced Haas avacado. I actually saw this on the TV show Barefoot Contessa.

Traditional Hot Cross Buns

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2011
Best yeast anything I've ever made! These are simply delicious. I omitted the all spice and raisins so I used twice as many currants. Sooo delicious hot out of the oven with butter and salt. I can't wait to have these with our Easter dinner tomorrow with the frosting!

Grandmother's Pound Cake II

Unbelievably simple to prepare. I added a teaspoon or so of homemade vanilla extract. The batter was surprisingly light and fluffy and very tasty, too!

Corned Beef Hash

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2012
Excellent & so simple! Husband thought he didn't like corned beef hash, until I made this for breakfast! I added a dash of worsteshire and a sprinkle of garlic powder. Crisped up the hash in a little olive oil and served with poached eggs and sour rye bread. Wish we had more leftover corned beef to make this with. Thank you sharing this simple, easy, and delicious recipe!

Chocolate Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2009
Delicious! I left out the chocolate chips and doubled the cocoa powder. Mine turned out very chocolatey with a beautiful texture. I made this yesterday afternoon and right now I'm waiting for the coffee to brew so I can have this for breakfast :)

Marinated Greek Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2012
Excellent flavor! I marinated the chicken overnight and used Greek yogurt. The meat wasn't tough as all, as other's mentioned, maybe it's the different type of yogurt. Next time I'll just grill whole breasts instead of kebabs and will also puree the marinade as other's suggested. Lastly, I will try setting aside some of the blended marinade (before adding the chicken) to save for dipping. Thanks for sharing, very delicious!

Clementine's Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
These were very well received in our Christmas baskets this year. I cut back on the cinnamon but otherwise followed the recipe. When the dough is chilled they stay like a regular cookie, but I found they were really awesome when they were baked at room temp. They really spread and became sort of lace cookies that were thin and crisp. Yummy :)

BLT Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
Yummy! I stupidly read this too quickly and thought it called for iceburg. The iceburg was sort of bitter, but that's not the recipe's fault, so it still gets 5 stars. Yummy homemade ranch type dressing with bacon.. how can you go wrong? :) Delicious!

Good for You Greek Salad

Reviewed: May 14, 2011
This was delicious. I left out the kalamata olives because they were really expensive. The cheapest jar I found was on sale for $5.99. Without the olives I thought this was great!

Hot Maryland Crab Dip

Yummy! I made it with "krab" -- I know it's a sin but I like it -- and otherwise used the other ingredients called for. I'm eating a half batch for dinner with water crackers.. Mmm diet food.

Baked Salmon II

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2006
This is excellent! My boyfriend and I both really liked this. I made it for our Easter dinner and it worked really well, time wise, with the side dishes. It was nice to let it sit in the fridge marinating while I prepped the side dishes.

Beaker's Vegetable Barley Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2006
Excellent! This is the first thing I ever cooked for my boyfriend 2 years ago and I came across the recipe recently and made it again the other night. He remembered it and loved it just as much now as he did then. It's healthy and delicious! Definately a comforting dinner on a cold fall/winter night. I served the soup with fresh french bread and butter.
