Tres Leches 'Three Milks'

Reviewed: May 30, 2004
This recipe is great. I make it in a 9x13 dish. When I take it out of the oven .I take a knife and skim off the skin(light brown part),while it is hot. While it is still warm, pour your milk mixture over, no need to poke holes, put in fridge overnight. This cake gets better the longer it sits. I don't use merginue.Sometimes I use 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk and I cup of milk.I love it this way.

Beer-Batter Onion Rings

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2006
This recipe didn't have alot of reviews but the ones it did have were great. I agree this is the best onion ring recipe I have ever tried or ever eaten for that matter. My husband said keep cooking these are great. My neighbor was over, she sliced a large onion and made a plateful for her and her husband, they loved them too. This recipe is definitely a keeper for 2 families now. No more searching, this is perfect, mouth watering and delicious!! Thanks LaDonna!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2008
OMG!!! This is the best! I did put 1 lg.can of evaporated milk and the rest regular milk. All I had was colby & Montrey jack cheese so I used that. This is the first time I have ever made my own Alfredo sauce but this is a keeper, that will be used often! Hubby loved it too!

Preacher Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2010
This recipe is wonderful. Years ago I made the ones that you cook for 3 minutes, with that recipe sometimes they would harden and sometimes they would not. But, once I started using this recipe I have never had a problem with them setting up. I do use evaporated milk in mine an most of the time I use creamy peanut butter. Every once in a while I will add i cup chopped pecans and/or 1/2 cup coconut to this recipe. You can cook for about 20 seconds longer but i minute should be perfect. Thanks for sharing this awesome recipe! For thr oatmeal if you use anything but the quick cooking (1 minute kind), they will not taste right. The rolled oats will make them tough with a cardboard taste. Rolled oats are great but just not for these cookies.

Sangria! Sangria!

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2009
I tried this recipe. I used peach brandy and I used the triple sec. I also added 2 1/2 cups ginger ale so it wouldn't be as strong. For me it is a little to strong and the triple sec gives it a taste I don't care for to much. It is a little bitter tasting to me. But,I do need to add I have never had Sangria before, so I am not saying it is not a good recipe. I was hoping for something with a smooth fruity taste.
