Sweet Potato Pie II

Although this pie was texturally excellent, no one in my family enjoyed the rum taste. I am going to try it again omitting the rum and adding a bit more sugar.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

This was good. I used fresh beans instead of frozen or canned and the French's onions on top. Next time I will try the cream of mushroom kind. I think the sour cream made it a bit more "tangy" than I wanted.

Cranberry Salad III

This was yummmy and a big hit with the kids. It may be a wee bit too sweet for the dinner table - more like a dessert.

Apple Pecan Cornbread Dressing

This was delicious. I made it for Christmas dinner using the ingredients as shown. I cooked it about half way on Christmas Eve, refrigerated it and completed the process when I heated it up for Christmas dinner. It got rave reviews from my picky family.

Beer Butt Chicken

I have made this twice and it is the most delicious, flavorful chicken I've ever tasted. I cooked it in the oven though - it's too cold for grilling. It is hard to get the piping hot can out of the chicken when it's done. If anyone has a secret, please do tell. I would definitely recommend you give this a try!
