My favorite things to cook
I am a vegetarian, but I love to cook asian food. It quick, flavorful and inexpensive. I also love vegetarian cuisines. Mostly all of the cuisine is healthy.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I grew up watching my mom cook thanksgiving, christmas and new years dinner. They were always big meals. Food always brought everyone together in our family. I think that and beginning to cook at the age of 8 inspired me to become a chef.
My cooking triumphs
I have completed 2 years at a Vocational cooking school. I have a Serv Safe Certification. I recieved a Culinary Scholarship.
My cooking tragedies
My only cooking tragedy is that my grandmother whom attended the same culinary school as me. and has helped inspire me to become a chef, died 10/6/2011...Her death affected me mentally for a while. but now my future is looking bright.
