I love all Asian cuisine, and have a particular penchant for sushi, though I am famous among those who know me for my cookies, which often incorporate either almond essence or peanuts, whether the recipe calls for it or not. My savoury meals, however, are almost always vegetable based; I like to cook food that is healthy. For my best friend's birthday I baked her a giant jaffa cake! It was both stunningly beautiful in its jaffa cake-ness, and terribly delectable. I made a red velvet cake that was not red in the slightest (though still quite tasty), and coconut cookies which looked worryingly like the pods from which strange creatures often emerge in the Alien movies.
