About this Cook
I love cooking for people and trying new recipes. I do it for the compliments, assuming I get any.I think my greatest cooking influences were my dad and my friend Bill.I think my best cooking moment was Thanksgiving of 2001.
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking sweet and sour chicken because it always comes out exactley how it should.
My favorite family cooking traditions
my family only really consisted of me and my mom and we didn't really have any traditions.
My cooking triumphs
This year I made pumpkin pie from scratch, even the crust, and it came out great! I have never been good with dough of any kind, so I was really excited.
My cooking tragedies
I have goofed on many things, chilis, cookies, ribs, lasagna, and manicotti. It was a real problem boiling the noodles without them sticking to each other or the pot.

All-in-One Casserole
When I started making this I wasn't too sure about it, but it turned out great! I didn't cut everything into cubes, I sliced everything thinnish. Its got a sweet taste to it, I think it needs something to contrast, though I don't really know what. Will be making again.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast
All I did was add carrots and little potatoes. It was awesome!I used low sodium cream of mushroom. Wasn't salty. My boyfriend usually adds extra stuff for flavor but not this time. He did put a little salt and pepper. I never add salt or pepper to anything so to me this was amazing. Used a spoon and it just fell apart. My only regret is that I wish there was more!

World's Best Lasagna
I soaked the noodles as other reviewers said. Worked fine. I omitted the salt because I don't like too much salt anyway and I knew from the canned tomatoes and sausage there would be plenty. I would recommend doubling up on the cheese because it makes alot.BF said it needed flavor, didn't stop him from constantly eating it. I think he thought that only because of lack of salt and I accidently added too much sugar. I loved it and will make it that way again. If you end up with extra sauce, use it on a homemade pizza. It's awesome!
