Dessert Crepes

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2003
Wonderful crepes! I had some at a restaurant once and decided to find a recipe online. My husband said these were even better than the ones I had at the restaurant.

Watermelon Fire and Ice Salsa

Reviewed: May 19, 2009
I love fruit salsas and this is no exception. I made it for a party I had and everyone, upon initial glace thought it was a tomato salsa until they scooped it up and tasted it. Everyone loved it.

Yummy, yummy, yummy brownies! I usually add some semisweet chocolate chips to my batch because I love the extra chocolate. Definitely a keeper recipe.

Broccoli Beef I

Reviewed: May 19, 2009
I've made this both with a bag of frozen broccoli florets and with chopped up fresh broccoli and they both work out great depending on what you're aiming for. Using frozen broccoli helps make this dish ready quick. Using fresh I personally believe lends to better flavor as the fresh broccoli cools slower than frozen and ads its own essence to the dish!

OMG, this was the best way I've eaten asparagus yet. I loved the sweet tart of the balsamic combined with the buttery flavor. This is a must try!

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: May 19, 2009
I used this for the cornbread on the Cheap and Easy Casserole recipe on this site. Very yummy. Don't have buttermilk? No problem, put a tablespoon of vinegar into 1 cup of milk and let sit for 10 minutes. Voila buttermilk substitute!

Easy Cheap and Yummy Casserole

Reviewed: May 19, 2009
Fun, cheap and easy, as well as yummy. I changed up the recipe a little bit to use up some leftovers I had the night before when I made tacos. I used ground beef seasoned with taco spices in place of the hot dogs and I used a can of refried beans (the mashed kind) in place of the baked beans. I left everything else the same, cooked it up, then served it topped with sour cream, chopped tomatos and shredded lettuce! Delicious!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: May 19, 2009
I never realized how easy it could be to make chicken and dumplings. I ended up doubling the recipe because I wasn't sure the recipe alone would be enough. Big mistake! I had chicken and dumplings enough for 2 weeks! hehe. Anyway, great recipe!
