Irish Cream Chocolate Cheesecake

Delicious! A nice heavy filling with a thick crust. My husband raved about it.

Easier Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2005
I love Chicken Marsala, and this is the best one I've made yet. I like that it uses oregano and not rosemary. I also like that you cook the chicken in the marsala wine, instead of removing the chicken once cooked and adding the wine to make a sauce separately. The chicken came out so juicy this way. Definitely a keeper.

Striped Pesto Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2006
I served this at a Bible study and a work potluck. Everyone raved about it, and we could not stop eating it. It's easy and delicious. This one's definitely a keeper!

Chocolate Chip Shortbread Cookie Logs

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2005
Really yummy! I used hazelnuts instead of walnuts because I had them on hand. And I just microwaved the chocolate and shortening for dipping because I don't have a double boiler. I definitely did not get 4 dozen cookies out of this recipe though, only 2 dozen.

Best Formula Three-Cheese Fondue

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2005
I really liked this fondue. It's smoother than a cheddar-only fondue and is not quite as strong as an emmentaler/gruyere fondue. I followed the suggestions in Qwertycake's review (dated 2/18/04) and it came out great. It didn't turn lumpy at all.

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2006
Everyone liked this one. I had to cut short the cooking time on the stove because it started burning. So then I also had to leave it in the oven longer to cook through. And I didn't have mozzerella, but it still was good.

Black Walnut Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2006
Ditto what CINDYDRAPER said. Yum Yum! I love black walnut ice cream, so when I saw this recipe, I had to try it. Delish, not too rich. Even my co-worker who hates walnuts said several times that it was really good! Perfect density and texture in my opinion.

Apple Maple Crumble Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2005
I followed others' advice and reduced the maple syrup to 1/2 cup. Mmm-mmm-good! I served it with vanilla ice cream. My dad suggested trying it with a graham cracker crumble, too.

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2006
Delicious! I reduced the sugar to 1/4 because I have sensitive teeth, and I reduced the oil to 1/4 to match the vinegar. Loved the strawberries! I used almost the exact recipe, but with cranberries, in the fall.

Cowboy Cookies III

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2006
Well, I had the problem with them spreading out too, but my husband didn't care because they tasted so good and were chewy, not crunchy or cake-like. I added some more flour after the 1st and 2nd batches, and then they didn't spread out so much. So, with probably 1/4 cup extra flour, this recipe is definitely a keeper.

Almond Crusted Chicken with Tomato Citrus Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2005
This was very good. I was worried about the rosemary being too overpowering, but it wasn't. I would feel good serving this at a nice dinner party.

Poppy Seed Bundt Cake III

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2006
This was so moist and delicious! I used a cake mix that already had pudding in it, so I didn't add any more pudding mix. I also doubled the almond extract, like some other reviewers did. Yum-my! It was perfect!

I use this recipe all the time, and everyone who tries it really likes it. The asparagus comes out perfectly crisp-tender, and it is so easy to make.

Pumpkin Bread IV

You know a recipe is good when you bring it to work, and someone gives comes and gives you a hug for bringing it! I was low on white sugar so I used half white and half brown. Came out great.

My husband really liked it, and he is picky about his lasagna! It had a good amount of sauce and not too much ricotta for him.
