Boston Baked Beans

Too salty between all the bacon and the 2 teaspoons of salt. Disappointing. I followed the directions exactly, added extra liquid when needed. Just way too salty.

This is a fantastic recipe. I used a rotisserie chicken as I had just bought it. The only addition I added was using the zest of the lemon I squeezed. Will make this again. If made without the chicken it's a great side dish...with it it's a delicious main dish. A good pot luck recipe.

Zucchini Patties

I followed the recipe because I'm a firm believer in not tweaking it until after I've made it once. I measured and did not eyeball any of the ingredients and had to add extra eggs to get everything incorporated. I urge everyone to make one pattie, taste it then adjust for salt and consider adding pepper as they are on the bland side. My mother made something similar and I lost her recipe over the years and this one is the closest to hers. They were a big hit as a side dish and there wasn't one left and I doubled the recipe. All in all it's a 5 star recipe.

Baked Stuffed Tomatoes

I loved this recipe. I followed it to a tee. I can only recommend tasting the filling before stuffing the tomatoes as seasonings may need to be adjusted. Each tomato has a different amount of pulp. I used medium to large tomatoes and ran the pulp in the food processor. When i added the rice it soaked up all the liquid. I ended up grabbing some chicken broth and added that to get the rice cooked. That was the only tweaking i did. 2 cups of rice is a bit too much. There wasn't any left for leftovers as my family gobbled them up and asked for more. This is an excellent 5 star recipe but needs tweaking in the seasonings and amount of rice to use. Be prepared to add extra liquid.

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Follow the recipe exactly and you won't be disappointed. One of the best breads I've made. I replaced my former blueberry bread recipe for this one. Don't let the amount of cinnamon scare you. It's perfect. Bakes nicely as 2 regular size loaves or as the mini loaves. I've made it both ways due to need. Thank you for a wonderful recipe.

Spinach and Feta Turkey Burgers

Excellent and delicious. Followed recipe as it called for. Only change that I might make is add a little S&P to the mixture. This one is for keeps. Is excellent with or without Tzatziki sauce

Easy Fruit Cobbler

This is an excellent excellent easy and tasty recipe. Have made this more than once following the recipe exactly. Have also made it with canned peaches as well as frozen. Only thing I would change but haven't for my own taste is cut back on the sugar to a half a cup.

Awesome Broccoli Casserole

This came out ok. I've made it more than once and seasoned with salt and pepper for flavor...but still ended up with more than half for leftovers. It's just ok on the blah side.

Baked Pineapple

This deserves 10 stars. Only change I made was to double it as 2nds, 3rds and 4ths were requested. I've been making this recipe every Easter for the past 10 years at least. This recipe is by far the best!

Turkey Sausage Noodles

This one is a keeper!! I'll always have the ingredients for a hash brown casserole to make at the last minute. Now I have 2 recipes. I used mixed veggies as I had them on hand and followed the rest of the recipe. I think it had good flavor. I cooked the ramen noodles for 2 minutes instead of 3 so when combined with the vegetable sauce mixture they didn't get too soggy as stated in other reviews. With a salad and some rolls, I'd serve it to company. Would give it 10 stars if I could.

Chicken and Red Bean Enchiladas

This was excellent. These were the best enchiladas I've ever made. The only thing I'd change would be to maybe add a little salt and pepper for flavor. I loved the sauce and made it again added a little parmesan cheese and served it to guests as a low fat tomato alfredo sauce. This one is a keeper.

Slow Cooker Baked Beans

This recipe was great. I did have to cook it an extra couple of hours but it was worth the wait. The taste was wonderful. I even froze leftovers and they reheated well.
