Janet's Rich Banana Bread

I mashed the bananas instead of slicing them, put in chocolate chips instead of walnuts, and substituted the sour cream with yogurt. I also added some cinnamon (I put cinnamon in everything though), used baking powder, not baking soda and softened the butter instead of completely melting it for more fluffiness. I followed the rest of the recipe though and all the measurements. It was soooo good! Got eaten very quickly and I'm definitely making it again!

Irish Spicy Cornbread

The consistency and taste is spot-on (and it looks perfectly golden brown too)! I would only recommend upping the hot pepper ingredients- I followed the recipe's measurements exactly and, while everything else was AWESOME, there was ZERO spice to it! Not even a tiny bit! :( But definitely using the recipe forevermore- it's very easy and fast to prep and bake. I didn't do the skillet thing, but just buttered an 8x10 baking pan. I served it with rice and beans and put some honey on it.

Perfect biscuits! I used butter instead of shortening and there was no problem. I also just formed each one in my hand, rather than rolling out and cutting. Way easier.

Pub-Style Vegetarian Chili

I never follow recipes to the T, but use them as guidelines. This is a great one! I put in less beans (I only had one can on hand), and added a lot more hot sauce, plus potatoes and fake sausage meat from Trader Joes. I think it's called GimmeLean. I also didn't use the tomato paste or wine, and it turned out fine. Better than fine! Going to make it again today!
