My philosophy on eating is simple - "food is medicine". With that in mind, I enjoy combining and cooking foods that work well with our sensitive digestive systems. Most of our western diseases start in the gut so I believe nurturing this part of our bodies on a daily basis is important for all of us.
My favorite things to cook
I rarely use traditional American ingredients such as wheat flour, breads, pasta, potatoes, cane sugar or rice. Rather, I enjoy enhancing the natural flavors of food with herbs, good cooking technique, and lots of healthy fats such as ghee and coconut oil.
