Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2011
I browned the meat before placing in crockpot, added some sliced onion. It was fantastic! My daughter's boyfriend kept going back for seconds..and thirds...LOL. Even the vegetarians in the house took a bite just to see what the fuss was about.

Cheryl's Spinach Cheesy Pasta Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2011
This was absolutely delicious, a real hit with my vegetarian kids! To appease my carnivorous boyfriend, I made meatballs & sauce on the side, added them to the top of his dish when serving. The only change I made was in reducing the olive oil slightly and using Italian-seasoned bread crumbs. While I was concerned at some of the views noting "blandness", my family thought it was just fine. I will definitely be serving this one again, thanks so much!

Juicy Steak

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
I made a version of this for Valentine's Day dinner, thrown together at the last minute since I was late coming home from work and had forgotten to thaw the steak. I didn't have meat tenderizer, just used the butter, Worcestershire, garlic, salt & pepper..the steak turned out FABULOUS! Tender, incredibly moist & juicy. Served alongside a baked potato, steamed broccoli, good bread & a nice red wine, it was the perfect romantic dinner and my boyfriend was very impressed! ;)

15-Minute Dinner Nachos Supreme

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2010
loved this recipe! I, too, made a couple of revisions. Since I had leftover cooked rice on hand, I used that in place of the uncooked rice. I added about 1/2 a can of Ro-tel tomatoes to the mix to add more substance and flavor. I also made 1/2 of it vegetarian for my kids by using frozen veggie crumbles. Everyone loved it! This mixture could also be stuffed into a soft tortilla for a wonderful burrito dinner! I'll definitely be making this one again!

I made this recipe for my family, substituting "veggie crumbles" for the beef to make it vegetarian. Everyone devoured it, delicious!

Elvis Presley Cake

As suggested in other reviews, I reduced the sugar to 1 cup (could have used even less) and sprinkled the nuts over top of the frosting instead of mixing them. It was absolutely delicious, a perfect cool dessert for a hot summer evening!

This was an easy, tasty recipe. I did add some shredded cheddar to the mix and I cooked in the slow cooker for about 5 hours, turned out perfectly!

I made this last night for an early Samhain dessert, it was fantastic! Living in South Florida we really appreciated the fall flavors without the warmth..smile..we ate it poolside! I'll definitely make it again, yummy!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

This meal was a HUGE hit at my house! We had impromptu dinner guests, was a quick and easy dish to serve poolside while enjoying the lovely autumn weather. Everyone raved about it, will definitely make it again. The only change I made was in using fat free Italian dressing, did not compromise the taste at all and allowed me to save a few calories. I did serve it over potatoes, great idea and something I would never have considered. Thanks so much for an awesome recipe!

Coconut Sour Cream Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
I made this for my Mom's 68th birthday, it was a huge hit! The guests loved it, there was barely a piece left for the birthday girl to take home with her! I submitted a pic of it, only changes I made was in the shape (used square cake pans) and did not toast the coconut because I decorated with red roses and wanted them to "pop" in the snowy white coconut. I agree that there was too much whipped topping, have a lot of frosting leftover but I plan to make cupcakes today so that won't be a problem.

Wonderful muffins! I sent my boyfriend off to work this morning with one, doubt he made it all the way to the office without nibbling.

I used Boca sausage, frozen spinach, and added a can of diced tomatoes. Delicous! My family gobbled it up.
