Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2015
The taste and consistency is wonderful. I didn't have celery and I wish I did for color. Green onions on top as garnish made it work. Repeater for sure

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2015
This was good and I followed the directions exactly including the homemade taco seasoning, but I'm not sure I'd make it again since there are so many similar recipes.

Maple Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2014
I have been wanting to try this recipe as brining is the way to go for roast turkey. This was absolutely excellent and kept the turkey extra moist despite me slightly over cooking. Didn't change a thing and followed it exactly unlike many brine recipes. This recipe is a true keeper!

Butternut Squash Soup II

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2014
Very good. As others recommended used 1 sweet potato and one regular, and used the celery and carrot per the recipe. I did add a pinch of curry and some garlic, and topped with sour cream. I will definitely make this again; my whole family enjoyed this for Thanksgiving this year.

Chicken with Artichokes and Sundried Tomatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2014
Not DHs favorite but I thought it was delicious! I did use the oil from the sundried tomatoes as recommended by others, and I found it light and addictive. DH kept nibbling after dinner....

Pumpkin Waffles with Apple Cider Syrup

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2014
While I have not made the pumpkin waffles yet, I've been using this cider syrup recipe for over 20 years! It was in the February 1990 issue of Gourmet magazine. It calls for half teaspoon each of cinnamon and nutmeg. My 21 year old daughter to this day still calls it her absolute favorite!

Scotch Bonnet Hot Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2014
This turned out really good. Very hot but very tasty. If it weren't for all the slicing it would be awesome. I guess you could throw them in the food processor before cooking instead of slicing.

Love this easy go to recipe. I like to add some swiss cheese to make it a little gooey. Great on the grill or oven. A keeper for sure!

Spicy Grilled Shrimp

We've made this delicious shrimp recipe a few times now without changing a thing. It's so easy and spicy as we like it, and also so versatile; you can put over salad, in tacos, over pasta, or simply alone. A go to recipe for sure!

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2014
I tried this and followed it as best I could (couldn't find Deb's seasoning where I live) but just can't give it 5 stars as other testers. I have tasted much richer and spicier chili recipes.

Slow-Roasted Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2014
This turned out perfectly! Followed cooking instructions exactly; the only thing I did differently was that I wet brined it instead of dry rubbing, and it turned out delicious. Great roast beef sandwich recipe.
