Bagels II

Other than being way too salty, these were very good. Instructions were followed exactly. Next time, I'll cut the salt in half and add in some onion. (I love onion bagels!)

Noodles Alfredo

Very nice! My 16 year old son made this tonight. We followed instructions exactly. The cheese was a bit grainy and did not melt all the way but we did use pre-shredded parm instead ofr shredding it ourselves. That would account for the graininess. Over all, delicious!

Grandma's Butter Noodles

I made this recipe exactly as described to use in our chicken noodle soup. I just boiled up a test batch, and they taste like boiled eggs! Nasty for soup. I'm going to try to tweak it and get rid of the eggy taste.

One - Two - Three - Four Cake III

Followed instructions exactly. It came out really dense. The cake developed a bit of a crust to it as well. It wasn't bad, but will require tweaking. I'll be trying it with butter next time instead of shortening.

Fluffy Pancakes

Wonderful recipe! I did takeoff one star for using soured milk instead of real buttermilk. Real buttermilk is very simple to make. Get some heavy whipping cream, and whip this into butter. (takes about twenty minutes.) The liquid that separates from the curds is buttermilk. This tastes MUCH better than soured milk in the recipe!
