Curry Mango Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2012
Very good! Using chicken thighs is a must! I too used the whole can of coconut milk and just a little of the broth. I put the chicken in a baggy with the seasonings over night which made prep the next day go very quick. I will be making this again.

Speedy Chicken Stir-Fry by Campbell's Kitchen

Reviewed: May 24, 2012
Interesting. Like the other review I found this different than any stir-fry that I have ever had too. It was sour and tart. I added brown sugar to make it more sweet. I won't make again.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2012
Best cheesecake ever!! Amazing! Absolutely restaurant quality!! The only thing I changed was that I used heavy whipping cream instead of the half and half but only because I forgot to get some and heavy cream was what I had in the house. Very good!

Quick and Easy Monkey Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2012
Very good. I used frozen bread dough; 1 loaf. I also cut the ingredients in half. I like to be able to taste some of the fresh bread thru all the sweetness.

Pecan Turtle Bars

Reviewed: May 29, 2011
Also felt these were way too buttery (greasy) and that flavor over-powered the bars. Even with the added 1/2 cup flour that others suggested, it was too much butter. I couldn't even tell that there were pecans or carmel flavors that were supposed to a part of these bars. 2 stars given purely for the simple and easy recipe. I will definately adapt the concept and revamp the. I think I will use the crust from the Lemon Pie Bars recipe from this site.

Lemon Pie Bars

Fantastic bottom pastry! I agree about the filling being cut in half. Otherwise, the lemon filling overpowers the pastry bottom and you can't enjoy the bar as a whole.

Pumpkin Cheesecake II

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2011
Turned out great!! Definately bake in a water bath it kept my cheesecake from cracking. I also turned off the oven after 50 minutes and left in the oven for an hour to make sure it set and baked all the way thru. The only thing I added or changed was I made a carmel glaze to put on top and then put the whole and crushed pecans on top (like pictured). Carmel glaze was made from 1/2 cup butter, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup whipping cream and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2011
The only thing I would change is doubling the sauce. With that much chicken and pasta, you definately need enough sauce! I did add mushrooms and used chicken broth instead of the wine. Tip: make sure you are using the Golden Mushroom soup and not Cream of Mushroom soup, it would definately make a difference in the outcome.

Man-Lovin' Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
This would have been much better without the mayonaisse!!! It made the dish greasy/oily and made the cheese curdle. I will try it with cream of potatoe or cream of chicken next time.

Meatball Grinders with a Yummy Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
The only change I made was that I used a jar of Marinara sauce instead of pizza sauce or spaghetti sauce like other reviewers suggested. It was quick, easy and very good. Next time I may try it with my own meatballs.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2009
This recipe is great!! I agree with the "author" putting the brown sugar and the ketchup on the bottom is the best! I am going to double the brown sugar & ketchup next time but other than that I wouldn't change a thing!!

Best Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2008
Very good tuna casserole. I also added the sour cream with the soups as well as the pepper. Used vegetable crackers instead of potatoe chips or ritz crackers; it added some additional flavor. Tip; do not over cook, cheese on top will get hard and crunchy.

Easy Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2008
Liked this recipe very much. I also used nacho Dorritos instead of the tortilla chips. I layered the meat mixture first and put the chips on top so the chips didn't get soggy. I also used a taco seasoning packet with the meat mixture. Make sure you don't over cook or at least cover it with aluminum foil. Over cooking will dry the dish out. It was very good, I will make it again.

Cheesy Brat Stew for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2007
This was very good, everyone liked it. I also waited until before serving to put in the cheese and I used 1/2 cheddar and 1/2 velveeta. I substituted the green beans for corn only because everyone likes corn at my house. I used red baby potatoes and didn't have a problem with them being done when we were ready to eat.

Albondigas Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2006
Very good. I did divide the sausage and hamburger into equal portions. I also sprinkled a shredded Mexican cheese mix on top of each serving. Otherwise, I followed the recipe as it is written. Very tasty! Lots of flavor! I will make this again.
