My favorite things to cook
I'm all over the map. I'll try anything that might taste good...Italian, Mexican, breads, appetizers, desserts. The only thing I routinely make every month or so is the Belgian waffles.
My cooking triumphs
My first cheesecake came out exceptionally well. I followed all the tips on this site for making a cheesecake and it came out perfect. Now I'm just waiting for an opportunity to make another.
My cooking tragedies
I made potatoes au gratin for Christmas. It was the second time I made it, and I decided to not peel the potatoes due to time constraint. The baking process turned the whole dish an frightful and unappitizing brown color. It tasted fine to me, but I still took home most of it.
