Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
I love this recipe. I usually just bake two batches and then freeze the rest as dough balls divided into batches with parchment paper in a ziplock bag. Then I have quick fresh baked cookies in 12 minutes when guests come over. I usually follow the recipe as written and the cookies come out prefect. It took me a couple tries to realize that after the eggs are beat in to just use a mixing spoon for the rest of the ingredients. Today I didn't have the usual semi-sweet chocolate chips or walnuts... but I had milk chocolate chips and ground hazelnut- the substitutions made delicious cookies as well!

Cheese's Baked Macaroni and Cheese
This recipe was tasty and perfect for a mac and cheese craving from a very anti "cheese powder" or "cheese food" cook. I omitted the sausage only because I am not a big meat eater and shredded the cheese from a fresh block I picked up at the farmers market. Also- I used whole wheat pasta and it was just as tasty as the white stuff. One tip my husband gave me was to warm the milk before adding it to the butter/flour and this seemed to help make it smooth and easy to mix. I didn't measure the breadcrumbs, just eyeballed what looked to be a good amount for my taste across the top and that worked perfectly. Craving kicked!
