Peanut Butter Pie VIII

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2005
This was exactly what I was looking for!! Making this pie was also a lot easier than I thought it would be. The change I made was to omit the meringue for the top and used Dream Whip. If you're very careful to chill the pie (after adding filling) and the Dream Whip (after whipping according to box directions) completely before topping, the result is pretty appealing--especially if you're not great with meringue.

Sausage Gravy I

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2005
This was really easy and had a pretty good taste. I think it does need a heavier seasoned sausage than I used, or maybe just some extra seasonings in the gravy. I did double this recipe just to make sure I had enough, and the little that was left over reheated well if you add just a little milk.

Slow Cooker Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2004
I used this recipe as a spring board for scalloped potatoes. I used onion powder, twice the ham, extra cheese, and cream of potato soup. It was tasty, and received pretty good reviews from the family. My only complaint would be that it took so long to cook-I went way over the four hours. I can say it's a great way to use up ham leftovers, and I'll probably make this agian soon.

Baked Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2004
I used this recipe as a foundation for a one-dish meal. I added ham, peas, and corn, along with Velveeta cheese to the mix. I did add a little salt and used onion powder instead of onion since I didn't have any onions. (I used cream of mushroom soup) The end result was a creamy cheesy mix that had everyone asking for more! Next time, I may add just a little less milk--it diluted the cheese flavor just a bit too much in my opinion. Believe me-I am not a kitchen whiz, but this recipe helped me to look like one--thanks!

Hamburger Gravy

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2003
I had my doubts about taste after reading other reviews, but tried this anyway. My family loved it! I did add 1 package of dried beefy onion soup to the mix and used seasoned salt. The result had pretty good flavor, and everyone had seconds.
