Luck o' the Irish Brownie

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2012
Outstanding!! I made these for the first time for a St. Patty's Day party. Looked great, tasted even better. I did add extra peppermint extract and green food coloring, based on looks & taste when mixing together. Otherwise, I followed the recipe exactly. My friends took some home to their kids and got rave reviews.

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2011
This is a GREAT dish! The only changes I made were: Doubled the sauce (all except the salad dressing mix) and used fettuccine noodles. I baked the chicken in the sauce, took the chicken out of the sauce after baking and sliced it into nice thin pieces. I mixed the noodles & sauce together & put the sliced chicken on top to serve it. It stayed in the oven on warm a few minutes while I got the rest of the meal together. Looked awesome and tasted even better. Planning to make it for an entire varsity boys swim team & they are gonna love it! (Will be multiplying the sauce by 6 and noodles by 4!) Great company dish!

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2009
Wonderful Mac & Cheese! My husband asked me to make homemade macaroni & cheese because he loved his mother's. He said this was the BEST he'd ever had! :) I made it exactly as written but used the hollow, spiral noodles. Doubled the recipe to have leftovers for lunch. Served as a main dish with broccoli. Also, I mixed it together early in the morning, refrigerated it, and popped it in the oven for dinner. Great, easy meal!! Thank you.

Ultimate Frozen Strawberry Margarita

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2009
I triple the recipe & make it all in the limeade can. (1 1/2 cans of tequila, one can of limeade, 1/2 can of triple sec & 24 oz of frozen strawberries.) I make the mix ahead of time in a pitcher & throw it in the fridge. When it's time for a party - I use my Margarita maker & blend it with ice (makes 3 pitchers of margaritas). It's AWESOME and people ask for the recipe constantly. Thanks so much - it's our go-to party recipe!

Lisa's Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2007
Thanks Lisa! I'm not much of a baker and this cake turned out excellent! I also used the chocolate satin glaze (doubled the recipe) and drizzled over the top. Many compliments! I baked it 55 minutes, cooled 20 minutes then added the glaze.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2007
This is the first ever recipe on this website that I have ever rated (been a member since '03). I called it "Mexican Chicken Chili" for my work chili cook off and won 2 years in a row. Very yummy w/crushed tortilla chips, sour cream and shredded cheddar. I substitute 1 can of chicken broth for beer. This is an easy, wonderful soup or chili. Great recipe!
