Guinness® Corned Beef

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2011
I don't normally review, but I just wanted to let all the non-drinkers out there that is is AMAZING! We do not drink alcohol, so I was a bit apprehensive to serve this to our group of friends that are also non-drinkers. Besides the bitter smell of beer in the beginning, you can not even tell this was cooked in Beer. My friends ALL went back for 2nds and all 8 lbs of meat was completely devoured by 6 of us! Follow the recipe exactly, except DO add that packet of spices or else you can not call it CORNED beef. Enjoy!

Sweet Potato Casserole II

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2006
This is the 3rd year in a row that I have made this tasty dish! Being that 3rd times a charm, I finally found what makes this recipe such a hit. First, it is MUCH better taste wise and consistancy wise to bake your potatoes wrapped in foil for 1-2 hours, depending on size. I also found that it needs more potatoes if you don't want a runny casserole. And finally, at least double the crumb topping. I also used both Slenda Brown and White sugar and wheat flour!!! I personally thought it tasted even better. I couldn't get enough reviews. Even my 1 yr. old nephew was gobbling this down.

The Best Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2007
This is the BEST meatball recipe EVER! I make it almost every weekend for the OSU games. Always a hit and it keeps bringing people back! I also used the apple cider and chicken broth. I also used ground turkey the 2nd time and think it tastes 10 times better!!!

Marshmallow and Lime Gelatin Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2006
Great hit at Thanksgiving! I think it would be a better fit for Christmas being that it is green. But you could really do this with any flavor Jello and matching pop. You could do Orange, Strawberry, or Grape. Perfect for all seasons. Or even Cherry with cherry 7-up.

Pumpkin Cheesecake II

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2006
Another Thanksgiving hit! I tried this with the Ginger Snap crust like someone suggested and it actually burnt. Stick to the grahm craker crust! Other than that, it was fabulous. It really wasn't that hard or time consuming to make. I used fat free Cream cheese and the splenda sugars. Tasted Fantastic.
