Honey Butter
Thanks for the reminder of this simple combination. It brought back many fond memories of mixing honey and softened butter to put on biscuits or toast when we visited our grandparents - many decades ago. We just mixed it on our plates. I like the idea of making enough for a container of it. I'm going to try it with Smart Balance, and take that for "after the morning service" snacks with homemade bread one of these Sundays. That and coffee, tea, or juice is a good combination.

Shepherd's Turkey Pie
This recipe is good. However there is one correction I'd like to make about the description of it on the "daily email". Colcannon with cauliflower tastes good, but it is NOT an "Irish flavor reminiscent of colcannon". Colcannon is mashed potatoes with kale (the Irish call it curly kale).

Easy Sausage Strata
I've used this combination as a make-ahead breakfast casserole for years. FYI: for those who are GLUTEN intolerant, you can use rice cakes instead of bread on the bottom of the dish -- spraying the dish first with Pam or some equivalent. After being in the refrigerator overnight and baking it the next morning, you can't tell that there were rice cakes instead of bread on the bottom. I made this once for a weekend beach getaway. Everyone enjoyed it, even those who weren't gluten intolerant. Very EASY.
