About this Cook
I love cooking things that make my family smile. My husband is the meat and potatoes guy. My 3 kids, one likes it sweet, one likes it spicy and one always says "make whatever cooks the fastest!". Never a dull moment.
My favorite things to cook
Creamy soups, pasta & chicken dishes, anything sweet and grilling when the weather is nice!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite family tradition is cooking up our Annual Christmas Eve Buffet. I find a lot of the recipes here!! Everything is mini and yummy!! So much fun to make!
My cooking triumphs
My cajun spiced chicken pasta!! So good! And all 3 of my kids like it!
My cooking tragedies
Breaded steak. My loving husband was forcing himself to eat it and smile until I took and bite and spit it out! He said, "Thank Goodness, I thought I was going to have to eat the whole thing!"

Tomato Soup
Excellent tomato soup! It's very easy to make and tastes great so I make it often. I stick my immersion blender in the pot and blend it until smooth. This is my favorite tomato soup recipe!

Mini Cheesecakes II
This was a big hit at our annual family Christmas Eve Buffet!! For the crust I used crushed Larna Doone cookies and I topped them with cherry pie filling. So easy to make and they came out great! The mini size was perfect for the buffet table! I will be making these again!!
