Melt some Kraft caramels, put about 1 tsp caramel and 1/2 tsp chpped pecans on top of nilla wafer before adding cheesecake mixture bake as usual, just before completely cool, top with a little melted milk chocolate chips, drizzle with a little more caramel and sprinkle few more pecans. OH MY GOSH YUMMY!

Pecan Pie VII

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2004
Very nice recipe, I like the custard texture better than the syrupie one I usually get with pecan pies. I dont agree with another reviewer about too many pecans, but I love pecans. My bottom crust did not cook and it took about 1 1/2 hours to set but I think a glass pie plate would resolve that I used a foil one. Great pie.

Baklava

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2004
Donna, Thank you for submitting this recipe. It is absolutly unbelievable! I am an excellent baker but I have always been intimidated by phyllo. I have always ordered baklava from a bakery or even mail order. This was so easy and beautiful, not to mention Yummy! I omited the vanilla and grated 1/2 tsp orange rind and 1Tbsp orange juice. It is so good. Can't wait to make it for Christmas.

Moist Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2006
I am actually writing this review hoping to get some tips from others. This recipe had a great dough texture (I like my sticky buns to be realy yeasty and soft not like bread) and the flavor was very good, but I ran into the problem I always do when I make cinnamon pecan sticky bun type stuff. Too Dry! not enough of the sticky stuff. So should I just triple the sauce recipe or something to make it more gooey? Other than that nice recipe, easy but time consuming. Thanks. Update Dec. 5 2006: This is a great dough recipe but I use the caramel recipe on "Cinnamon Rolls I" posted on this site. I double the caramel recipe and use pecans rather than walnuts. Great!

Wonderful recipe. I was looking for a scalia bread recipe and this is the closest I have found. UPDATE 10/08/06: At the kneading stage add 1 Tbsp. dried rosemary for great oil dipping bread with an Italian dinner. Awesome!

Sweet Potato Rolls

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2006
I made this in my bread machine. The only change I made was 3 Tbsp brown sugar and 1 Tbsp white, and I added 1 tsp. ground nutmeg. I used sweet potaots I grew in my garden. I think those who said they were not as orange colored as they anticipated maybe used canned sweet potatos. Mine were very orange, absolutely gorgeous! I served with honey butter. This is a wonderful recipe and a great use for sweet potatos.

Best of Fair Orange Marmalade

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2006
When I first made this I never expected it to come out so good. I had never made marmalade before. Just for fun I entered it in my county fair and won 1st place and best of fair. It is a very pretty color and great flavor. Many people add lemons to their orange marmalade but I wanted true orange color and flavor, so I use only oranges.
