Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff II

I'm the only mushroom lover in the family so I expected some flack for this but to my suprise I only got "seconds please !" from everyone. The meat is so tender it just fall apart in your mouth. Great job, will make this again!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

This was a "make again" recipe. Everyone enjoyed and there was hardly any leftovers. I too subsitiuted the beer for chicken broth and it still tasted great.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

The chicken was fall apart delicious and the dumplings turned out great. Make sure you use a large crock pot as the standard size is way too small once the dumplings start to expand.

Chicken Rotini Soup

For a simple recipe this soup had good flavor. To keep the noodles from getting too mushy I cooked them as directed but then didn't add them to the soup until the very end, just to warm them up.

Easy Slow Cooker Pork Chops

Very good and easy but lacked some flavor. I added a little apple juice to boost the apple flavor, otherwise very good the whole family enjoyed it.

Basic Bean Soup

Crispy Fish Fillets

I made this with walleye filets, dusted with flour before egg wash and used a 1/3 potato flake,1/3 Itlian Bread Crumb, 1/3 Fry Magic mixture for breading and they turned out great. My two boys who only like the processed breaded frozen fish sticks even went for seconds!! Glad I got that third large filet. CRISPY, GOLDEN, DELICIOUS!!!

Roasted Pork Loin

Excellent! Used this recipe a second time but used chops in the crock pot and they turned out great (and cut down on cooking time). Will use again in the future.

Fried Apples

Breaded Pork Tenderloin

Good but not great. It was a lot of work/time involved for something that came out simply okay. I've had just as good results adding a few of my favorite spices to some shake and bake and a whole lot less effort & mess.

Too Easy Peach Cobbler

This recipe got decent reviews from the family, but no one was lining up for seconds. This was good for a easy, quick dessert when you have extra peaches lying around and you're looking for some way too use them up before they go bad. Just not as good as the real thing.

Grilled Salmon I

I'm not a salmon/fish lover but this made it good enough for me to eat some. It helped take some of the fishy taste out. I had salmon that I caught while camping last year not store bought which might account for some of the fishy taste. My wife and kids liked it enough to try this again if I catch some more salmon next year.
