Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

It's time to rate this recipe. I have made it numerous times to always rave reviews. It it perhaps the best soup I've ever had, for sure the best I've ever made. The deep, complex flavors are astounding. I like to finish with a little cream, but it's not needed, just an extra special touch.

Marinated Pork Tenderloin

I can't believe I haven't rated this recipe yet! I have made this over and over and it is our favorite way to enjoy pork tenderloin. I have even grilled it ahead of time then reheated in my crock pot with some of the marinade in order to take it to potlucks. Always get rave reviews and requests for the recipe. I slice the meat before marinating , then grill the slices to get more of the great flavor in the meat.

Honey Grilled Shrimp

Really tasty shrimp! I was in a hurry and marinated for barely an hour, but the flavor penetrated nicely. Big hit with my husband.

Sausage Egg Casserole

This was the best breakfast bake I've ever made. I made it for an office meeting and they gobbled it up. We are low-carbing it at home, so I made a second batch without the flour mixture, and it was just as good. I did use part Monterey Jack and part Pepper Jack cheese, to add a little more zip. Definately a keeper.

Sweet and Sour Salad

This is an all-time great salad. I have substituted pecans for the walnuts and it is just as good. I take copies of the recipe every time I make it for a putluck, because I'm always asked!

Jalapenos del Raton

I made these again for a cookout the other night and got so many compliments and requests for the recipe. I have made them many times, with turkey sausage and pork sausage and they are always great. Spiciness varies with jalapenos - sometimes they are hot and sometimes not. I have always grilled, not baked in the oven, and to do that it is important to use turkey bacon. Regular bacon drips and causes huge flare-ups! Trust me, I've tried it.
