Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2011
First I brought the serving yeild down to 4, then I took another reviewer's advice and added a dash each of liquid smoke, Worcestershire, and soy sauce. I also added a little more bread crumbs. My new fave turkey recipe! Nice and juicy, they're every bit as yummy as a hamburger!

Campbell's® Tuna Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2010
Why do people give low ratings for blandness? It's up the the individual to jazz it up a little, if needed. I used lowfat evaporated milk, Healthy Choice crm. of mushroom soup, wholegrain pasta bow ties insted of egg noodles, half the peas. I added a chopped shallot and celery stalk, several chopped mushrooms, all sauteed first. I also tossed in some thyme and cracked pepper, and lastly tripled the crumbs and added grated romano. It was terrific!!

Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2010
I love this recipe! So cool to read everybody's spin on this sandwich. I used millet bread, but you could use wheat or french bread etc,, Put mayo, thin sliced tomato, cooked bacon and horseradish cheddar with a pickle slice on the side. If I wanna be REALLY bad I'll whip up an egg and some milk and dip the sandwich in it before I grill it. YUM!!

Kielbasa Bean Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2010
This soup is like 'chili lite'. I added a can of black beans instead of the garbanzos and used a summer squash and a zucchini, one of my cans of tomatoes had onion and green pepper in it, I omitted the green pepper called for in the recipe, used a qt. of chicken stock instead of water and bouillon and carmelized the onions first. Used turkey kielbasa and added a few dashes of cayenne pepper and mashed some of the soup against the side of the pot. YUM!! I will be making this again and again. Thanks, Emily.

Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2011
Yummy. I made a few modifications. I added 1/4 cup more marsala, 1/3 cup chicken broth, 2 cups of mushrooms. 2 T butter and 2 T olive oil. Sauteed the chicken, took it out of the pan and sauteed shrooms with garlic. Added onion powder and parsely. Took the chicken out after the last step and reduced the gravy with a little Wondra flour stirred in.

Curried Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2011
I had boneless thighs, and diced tomatoes here. Sauteed the spices in the oil for several minutes, then added the onion and sauteed 'til translucent, then added chicken and sateed 'til cooked through as per another Indian reviewer suggested. I added a bit more cumin and some garam masala to taste, and did the same with sugar, I'm sure it was less than 3T. This was so yummy we had it 2 nights in a row.

Baked Spaghetti Squash with Beef and Veggies

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2011
This was yummy. I doubled the basil and oregano, and added 1/4 t cayenne. I think next time I might add a liitle hot chicken sausage. * Bake the squash, it's worth the time you save microwaving (as some have done) in better flavor.
