Thai Spicy Basil Chicken Fried Rice
Loved it! Made it without chicken, but kept the recipe the same. I also scrambled an egg before starting this recipe, took it out and added it back in right before adding the basil. Thai basil is completely different from regular basil- completely worth finding (readily available in Asian stores). I added sliced mushrooms, frozen peas, and chopped fresh spinach. Garnished with green onions. Yumm!

Fresh Mozzarella Pasta Salad
Awesome and so easy! Since other reviewers said this was too bland, I just mixed the orzo, mozzarella, vine ripe tomatoes, and fresh basil with a little Italian dressing. Worked like a charm. Didn't need the red pepper, olive oil, or anything else, but make sure the mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil are fresh!! Otherwise, there isn't any point of making this type of dish. Very good salad!

Dawn's Candied Walnuts
Excellent! SO easy. I didn't use a thermometer- I just kept stirring with a whisk until it resembled a dark caramel, dumped the walnuts in (which i just lightly toasted in a frying pan on low heat), and then immediately dumped the mix out on wax paper and separated. These are perfect on their own or added to a mixed green salad with feta, cranberries, and pears. yummm!
