Apple Pie

I used my own pie crust recipe, but used this recipe for the filling and it was fantastic! I suggest using golden delicious apples.

Mommy's Banana Bread

I liked the cinnamon crust, it was very tasty. I wouldn't make this again, however. I found it fell apart and dried out too quickly, compared with my usual recipe.

Savory Lemon Chicken

This chicken was delicious, and my boyfriend loved it too. I tenderized the chicken breasts first and added lemon slices to the pan while everything was simmering for added lemony goodness.

Campbell's Kitchen Easy Beef Enchiladas

These were pretty good for fast, no fuss enchiladas. I'd like to try making some more from scratch next time. The things I did differently are: I omitted the rice, and topped the finished product with sour cream, lettuce and tomatoes.

Spaghetti and Meatballs

I really liked this recipe! The sauce was very tangy and delicious. I mixed in ground turkey with the ground beef for the meatballs and browned them until they were almost done. I added them to the sauce and simmered for about 40 minutes or so. It turned out great. Next time however, I will add a lot more garlic.

Ruth's Grandma's Pie Crust

This pie crust has a perfect balance of sturdiness and flakiness. It tastes awesome and doesn't need to be refridgerated for a long time before use, like a lot of other pastry recipes. However, the recipe yields too much pastry for one pie and not enough for two. Although, for Thanksgiving, I made a double crust apple pie and a single crust pumpkin pie, so it was the perfect amount.

Hash Brown Quiche

I have used this recipe many times, but with a few alterations and additions. I grate my own potatoes for the crust, instead of using store bought and I add 2 or 3 more eggs to make it fluffier. I also add vegetables such as broccoli, and green or red peppers. It's an awesome breakfast or dinner that goes great with garlic toast. Delicious!
