Curried Mango Chicken

Reviewed: May 3, 2011
This was delicious and simple. I'm amazed that people still buy frozen dinners. In about 30 mins I had this completed and served with couscous and naan. The only thing I would do different is buy hot curry paste...all I had on hand was mild, but it was still great.

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2010
I've been using this recipe for years and friends and family still get rave reviews. There are only 2 changes that I make - I season the meat with garlic powder and black pepper while it's browning, and I omit the brown sugar and instead mix ketchup, mustard, and BBQ sauce in a bowl until it's at a color and consistency that I like, then I pour that into the pan. The BBQ sauce adds a smokiness to it while not making it too sweet.

Grilled 'Fusion' Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2009
I was very impressed with this recipe. I didn't have time to go the Indian grocer to pick up ginger or garlic paste, so I combine equal parts of ginger and garlic and made my own paste. I sauteed the chops as we've had a cold snap here for the past week and the highest temp was -9F (not including the wind chill) so grilling was not an option. Perhaps I will try broiling them next time.

Makhani Chicken (Indian Butter Chicken)

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2003
Very good recipe, the chicken was very tender and had a wonderful heat to it. I followed the advice of one reviewer and cut the tomato puree to 1 Cup and added a dash of sugar to counteract the bitterness. For the amount of chicken I had I thought this recipe made a lot of sauce (even without that extra cup of tomato puree). I served it on a bed of jasmine rice with naan bread and it was very tasty. Also, the spice level is up there so if you don't like spicy foods, cut back on the chili powder. And I also had trouble locating garlic paste and ginger paste in my area so I substituted with garlic powder and ground ginger. Definitely a keeper.

Absolutely the best cinnamon bread - hands down. I made this for a group of friends and there was nothing left. Moist and delicious. Thanks for an excellent recipe that is definitely a keeper.

Chicken Shwarma

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2003
Very good and very easy to make. Like other reviewers I sauted an onion and green pepper with additional garam masala. Also, I didn't have clarified butter (I only had Country Crock and I wasn't sure how that would turn out clarified) so I used olive oil.

Quick and easy to make. I increased the amount of Cajun seasoning because I love spicy food.

Probably the best banana bread I ever made. Like the other reviewers suggested I added cinnamon and a bit of white sugar. Very good.

Everyone loved this recipe. Very simple and delicious. If you are salt/sodium conscious, try using a low sodium soy sauce.

Absolutely delicious. And the onion flavor is not overpowering.
