Fudge Puddles

Great cookie! I have long made peanut butter cookies with a kiss in the center. This are much better due to the chocolate being in each bite, not just the center. Will be using this recipe often!

World's Best Lasagna

Perfect! I used extra cheese because I got a little carried away and it was great! I thought it would be time consuming but it was really simple. You just need 11/2 hours to stay home and watch a pot because the rest takes about 15 minutes!

Burrito Pie

Great dish followed all instructions except only 1/2 chopped onion. Made retried beans and layered them in one batch instead of mixing into the meat. Doesn't change anything, just aesthetic. Will definitely be using again soon!

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2011
Awesome! I normally use ricotta with a lasanga type dish but the sour cream, cheese combo is awesome! Used others suggestion of layering cheese and then spreading sour cream on top of cheese, I'm assuming its also easier to assemble this way too! We will be using this frequently, everyone gobbled it up.

Italian Wedding Soup I

I made my meatballs from half lean ground beef / half lean ground pork. I also upped the bread crumbs and parmesan cheese. Excellent!

French Onion Soup I

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2009
Great french onion soup without cooking it for 3 hours! I only used half the water and used additional low sodium beef broth in place. I'm sure I used extra red wine but I didn't measure. I think next time i'll try provolone cheese instead of swiss.

Great chicken, the marinade was perfect and made very juicy chicken. I will definately use this often for grilling chicken. I used Fat Free Ranch and nothing was missing at all.

Shrimp Avocado Pasta Salad

I've made this twice in a week. I left out the bacon both times, I'm sure it's great with, just trying to cut out a little fat and it wasn't missed. Fresh lemon juice is a must, it makes it!

Cream of Mushroom Soup I

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2008
I was very excited to try this recipe based on the reviews but it wasn't what I was hoping for. It was a fine soup but didn't have enough flavor for me. I used 3 TBLS of Sherry (followed the rest of the recipe exactly) to help increase the taste but it only helped a little bit. I will keep looking for a different recipe.

Buffalo Chicken Wing Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2008
I used a full cup of store brand buffalo chicken wing sauce. We added some hot pepper sauce and a spoon full of blue cheese crumbles to the top of each bowl. It was great! Also used one store bought rotissier chicken shredded.

Cornbread and Sausage Stuffing

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
This is my go to stuffing mix. I have always used dressed up'd boxed stuffing until I finally found this receipe worth taking the time to make. I skip the sage and thyme because I don't normally keep either in my spice rack and it doesn't lack in flavor at all. I'm sure it would be even better with it!

Baklava

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
My father is greek and said that this was the real deal! When you are cutting the the pans do not cut through the bottom layers of philo. This keeps the syrup mixture from going straight to the bottom and making it too soggy. Just cut all the way through as you serve it. This will also keep it from getting soggy if left in the pan but it normally doesn't last too long as leftovers!

Smothered Meatballs

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
I've made this several times and it's become a family favorite. I don't use the browning sauce because I don't keep any but follow everything else exactly. This is really good over egg noodles, kinda like a psuedo stroganof.

Eggplant Parmesan II

I didn't have time to salt the eggplant like others mentioned and it didn't matter at all. I sliced the eggplant very thinly and it didn't create any excess water in the pan. Will make again!

Margarita Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
This is a great summer dessert. I originally made it for Cinco De Mayo and have used it for two cookouts this summer. I used Margarita Mix in place of all the liqours because it's all I had on hand. For the reviewers who stated it didn't taste like a margarita try it this way! It had the perfect zing of a margarita without being too much. I've also used an orange cake mix everytime.

Triple-Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
Hands down the best Mac and Cheese recipe ever! I have made this several times now and it's always to die for. The mustard and seasoning salt seem strange but they really make the dish. It wouldn't be near as good without the full amount of each of them. Mine has never been runny but the perfect consistency of baked macaroni each time. Yum!!

Old Settlers' Baked Beans

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
I cooked these in my slow cooker for about 4 hours on low. The beans melted in your mouth after that! I used one can of BBQ beans with pork, one can of navy beans, and one can of butter beans. The ground beef really makes the recipe!

I am southern so I love sweet slaw. This was almost too sweet and definately too soupy. It was still good, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't follow this recipe again.
