Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2011
Super easy! I made this for a work - Baby Shower, we served it with coleslaw. Everyone raved and wanted the recipe. We used Jack Daniels BBQ sauce that we added Root beer and reduced first. Perfect!

Broccoli and Tortellini Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2007
AWESOME, there is nothing better. I was so excited when I was passed this recipe from a coworker. Made it for my boyfriend, and now I have to have it on hand at all times. I like to replace the sunflower seeds with Almonds, Pine nuts, Soy nuts, almost anything. Also I HATE onions, so using little green onions works very well.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2007
Wonderful. I only placed 1/2 the Brown Sugar/Ketchup on the bottom of the pan, the other 1/2 on the top. Added some of the left over onion slices to the top. It was wonderful. Also used bread crumbs instead of crackers. If you like pepper as I do, add equal parts pepper and salt.

Asian Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2006
I have used a simular recipe for years, just "Toast" the noodles, and whatever seeds you like, you do not need to use BUTTER to brown them. Less fat too!

Spicy Lemon Pork Saute

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2004
This is a great marinade. Lemon flavor is not that strong, and the spicy-ness is just right. If you like to taste the flavor of the lemon I would suggest adding more. Tip: If you by you meat in bulk like I do. Place this recipe in a freezer with the meat (I used pork) and freeze. When ready to cook defrost all day in the fridge and it marinates while it defrosts. Throw it on the grill and you are good to go.

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2004
Wonderful and it smelt so good while it was cooking. I used every thing as directed, but I used sweet and spicy mustard and just a tad less that what was called for. Oh yeah, had to cook it a little longer than directed.

Restaurant-Style Potato Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2004
Great potato salad. Made a few changes...No onions (I hate them), no pimento (didn't have any), no carrot (didn't have any) and celery seed instead of celery (I am not fond of the crunchy texture in a potato salad). I know it sounds bland but it was still GREAT! There were no left overs!

Chocolate Banana Smoothie

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2004
Was good but not great. I would suggest more bananas and some kind of sweetener.

German Potato Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2004
Great German recipe! My boyfriend and roommate loved it. The only changes I made were in the amount of oil used, 2 tablespoons just wasn't enough to brown the whole batch. This may have been due to the fact that I cook with cast iron. So I kept about 1/4 inch in the pan at all times, but after making that little adjustment they browned perfect!

Just so so. Was not impressed. Lacked bite, maybe more vinegar would be better.

Potato Dumplings II

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2004
These looked great while they were cooked but then once I took them out of the pot to drain they went flat and were so sticky. There were not worth eating. I may have done something wrong since it was the first time every that I have made dumplings...but I followed the directions to a "T" so good luck with this one!
