Baked Potato Soup

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this recipe. I had no problem with the broth being to runny, mine thickened up just fine. I doubled the recipe. I will definitely be making this again.

Deep Dish Alfredo Pizza

For anyone who gave this low reviews, I am not sure why. This came out really great. I love the sauce, I think I am going to make the dough into bread sticks the next time and dip in the sauce, just like at Olive Garden. I will add Italian Seasoning and Garlic Powder to the dough just for flavor, and maybe also some grated Parmesan Cheese just to give it a little something more. Love this recipe. Make sure you use Fresh Grated Parmesan NOT the stuff in the container.

Coq au Vin alla Italiana

This smelled wonderful while it was cooking. But the taste was bland and a little off, I am not sure if it was the wine or something else. I do not think I would make this again.

Shoyu Chicken

I would give this 5 stars, but I did not grill it, because it starting pouring rain when I was going out to get the grill ready. So instead I placed the Chicken and the Marinade in a 9x13 baking dish, and baked it for 45 minutes at 400 degrees. I liked it, it was a little spicey for me, but my older boys loved it and thought it was not too spicey. I am going to be making this again when our weather here decides to stay a sunny.

A Good Easy Garlic Chicken

This was a good recipe. I added about two tablespoons of olive oil to the pan and melted the butter in the olive oil. I also added fresh garlic and onion. I took chicken out and set aside, and then took one other reviewr's suggestion and added 1/4 cup of flour and browned the flour and then added two small cans of chicken broth and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Mixed well, then added the chicken back to the pan, until the gravy mixture was thickened. My family liked it and so did picky 6 year old daughter. Will definately make this again.

Roast Beef and Gravy

I used one can cream of mushroom and one can of cream of chicken (thought I had 2 cans cream of mushroom) added the onion soup mix and used beef broth. Was a great meal with mashed potatoes, and french bread.

Easy Key Lime Pie I

I enjoyed this pie with a few changes. As other reviewers suggested, I used 4 eggs,2 cans sweetened condensed milk. I baked about 25 minutes.

Apple Crumble Pie

This was really good. I used 10 apples, since they do cook down. I also added about 2 tablespoons lime juice in a bowl with the apples, to keep them from browning. I did not pour the sugar mixture over the apples, instead I mixed it into the bowl with the apples. I baked for about 20 minutes before adding the topping.

Puffs

My family loved these. But I am only rating these 4 stars because I forgot the Monterey Jack Cheese. I also did not have fresh Jolapeno's on hand, so I used 4 ounces of jarred Mezzetta jolapeno's. I will try again with all the ingredients, and re-rate.

Better Than Best Fried Chicken

I am only giving this 3 stars, because as usual, I burn not fry. I don't know why but I can not fry chicken for anything, it burns every time. Even burnt this had a good flavor. So since I can't fry fried chicken, next time I am going to try baking in the oven. I will do every thing the same then bake it. I am not sure if any one has tried that. To many reviews to read through.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

I am not sure why but I can not bake for anyreason. But I decided to try to make my own Apple pie for Thanksgiving, so I decided to try this recipe, since it seems that it gets rave reviews. And even though I messed it up and the pie looked funny, it was wonderfully good. I will try to make this again and do a better job next time.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

I made this today, it was good, and very easy to put together. I did not have chicken breasts, so I used chicken thighs. Still turned out good. I did add cumin, and ground red peppers. I am going to make this again, but I am going to try ground beef, to see if it is good that way also.

Country Chicken Casserole

I made this for dinner tonight with a few adjustments. I used 5 cups of hashbrowns and baked them for crispiness before adding the rest of the ingredients. I added the corn into the soup mixture, I used 2 cans of soup and 2 cups of milk. I used shredded Colby/jack cheese. This was good. Next time I think I will use more potatoes, and more cheese. My pickey children even liked it.
