Highland Games with my pottery
About this Cook
I have a pottery studio and am a professional potter. My family and I sell at shows around the southeast. I love to make the functional stoneware that I serve my dishes in.
My favorite things to cook
I love vegetables. We are exploring Tofu and other meat alternatives. I think soups are a perfect food. Everyone in my family loves eggs- anyway we can get them!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family comes from a mixed bag. I make Cuban Garbanzo Bean Soup, Frijoles Negroes, Pork Roast with Beer and Sauerkraut. And I also make excellant Boiled Peanuts!

Sarge's EZ Pulled Pork BBQ
Very easy. I like adding the BBQ Sauce later. Added no garlic , salt or pepper. although that would have been ok with the end results. Either way works fine depending on how many ways you end up using the finished product. No liquid smoke!

Pear Pie III
Very good. Used pears from friend's tree. Now I will have to make it every year:). Use 1/4 pound butter, not 1/4 cup butter. Also, I cut the white suger to 3/4 cup and changed the Vanilla to 3teasp.+ 1 teasp almond extract.
