This is AWESOME! I have ade it two times and even my finicky kids LOVE it! I did add some garlic powder and fresh or chopped cilantro or parsley with the mushrooms add a little extra flavor and color. This is a keeper for sure...

World's Best Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2003
This was an awesome recipe...it is soft and creamy and just right peanut-buttery to us. My daughter asked to take it to her holiday party. Double the recipe and pur it in a sheet pan! Delicious - Thanks Debby!

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2004
I use this recipe all the time and people LOVE it. I usually use Gruyere but sometimes it is so expensive that I use Parm. (Costco has great prices on hard cheese FYI.) I also have used chopped fresh cilantro and a little crushed black pepper and loved it that way too. Excellent and never grainy for me, although it doesn't reheat very well but you probably won't have much leftover!

Barbeque Halibut Steaks

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2004
This is a great recipe. My husband loves fish and he even said he thought it was the best Halibut he has ever had. I did constantly brush the fish with the sauce to make sure it pentrated and I think marinating it would make it easier. I do not eat fish but I love this particular one. Thanks for the great sauce recipe!

Best Fried Green Tomatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2004
We thought this was great and used up a few of my pre frost harvest. I did add more salt & pepper afterwards to "season" the top.

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

Great recipe! Didn't change a thing except that I did a sugar/cinnamon mix sprinkle on top before baking. Absolutely wonderful!

Michelle's Famous Washed Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2004
I made this last year and I am making it again! I do not scrape the foam and I add some fresh orange zest for a twist. I also run this thru the blender once it has cooled a little to make it smoother as I am not a fan of chunky sauce - but that is just a personal thing, the recipe is awesome!

Lemon Green Beans with Walnuts

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2005
My Husband & I LOVED these - but you have to love lemon to love 'em. I think some people hated them because they are a strong flavor but it was such a refreshing change from the everyday. I even saved the leftovers and a quick zap and they were good the next day too.

Cinnamon Orange Turkey Scaloppini

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2005
One word - BLAH! The recipe has a potential to be good and is definitely healthy but lacks taste. I even increased the fresh orange juice I used and added some S&P but to no avail. Not unedible; it's just BLAND.....

Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2005
This recipe was a hit, especially after a cool, brisk day. I used sliced sirloin tip steaks and I had to use a can of french onion soup because I was out of cond beef broth. The steaks seemed to yield a little less desirable amount of juice so I then added a cup of beef granule mixed with water. I was out of white wine so I used a cup of champagne that I let sit for a bit to un-bubbly. Mom-In-law loved it too! I served it over egg noodles.

My Best Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2005
My husband and oldest son said it needed bigger/more clam chunks but my little ones and myself liked it the way it is. I followed this recipe to a "T" except I added a little milk at the end to thin it out a tad. I gove it a 5 because I think it is a fabulous chowder but next time I will add more clams/clam juice, one or the other. :-)

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2005
Absolutely fantastic! Did not change a thing and it was absolutely delicious, made a double batch to give some out to friends, 3 loaves in one oven took about an hour and the 4th loaf in my little side oven took about 50 minutes. Used the convection setting to speed up the 3 in the large oven. Came out of the loaf pans absolutely effortlessly! We all loved it!!!!! :-)

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2005
These were fantastic! I added a splash of vanilla and also used frozen/thawed/drained huckleberries that we picked this fall and they were suberb! I made a triple batch of batter and a double batch of topping and I yielded 32 regular muffins. I filled the cups almost to the top and they mushroomed up perfectly. Not too sweet as a muffin should be (sweet is cake!). Will make again and again for sure!

Cranberry Macadamia Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2005
These are absolutely AWESOME! We bought a ton of mac nuts in Hawaii earlier this month and I was looking for a great recipe to use them in! I have to say that I definitely will make these over and over with my stash! I doubled the recipe and used a 9X13 pan. Used my little Pampered Chef mini pizza crust roller thinger to get a perfectly even crust! THE BEST!

This is our favorite cookie recipe for the past 2 years...goodbye Tollhouse! If you follow the directions and use dry measure like you are supposed to when baking they will come out perfect every time! I have even used pistachio pudding with pistachio nuts & white chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, pecans, + blueberries (yes fresh berries!), chocolate pudding with reeses chips...any combo of any flavor of pudding & chips and whatever else you want...they are versatile!
