Restaurant-Style Hashbrown Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2014
I made this on my annual ski trip this Saturday for 31 people and it was amazing. One person said they don't like hash browns but that they loved this recipe. I followed the recipe except that I used colby cheese instead of cheddar. I also melted the butter. It turned out amazing and I will be making this again very soon. This would be amazing in a breakfast casserole too.

Easy Beer Bread Mix

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2013
I just baked both a Tastefully Simple loaf and this one. This one from scratch was bigger and taste identical to it by omitting the onion powder and Italian seasoning and using 1/3 cup brown sugar. No more Tastefully Simple for me. Thanks for the recipe ??

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2012
This sloppy joe is the BOMB. I will NEVER eat Manwich again. By far it is killing Manwich. When I make this, it is amazing and it's so hard to stop eating it! I use 1/2 cup ketchup and 1/4 cup of sweet baby rays bbq sauce per pound....MM MM MM! I also use red and green peppers. TERRIFIC!

Smothered Tilapia

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2010
I made this recipes last night and it was delicious. I didn't have any lemons so I used lemon juice and made sure that the fish was coated on both sides. I used McCormick Montreal Steak seasoning, swiss cheese, cherry tomatoes and the oregano. Even my 15 yr. old son that doesn't like fish enjoyed it and even had a 2nd piece. This recipe is a keeper, thank you for sharing it!

Scalloped Potatoes I

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
I made these potatoes last night for dinner and they were a hit. I made red skin potatoes and sliced them very thin. I took the advice of others and used 1 can of cheddar cheese soup, 1 can of cream of mushroom, 1/2 chopped onion, 1/2 cup milk, black pepper, garlic powder and salt in the mixture. Layered it and covered it in the oven on 375 for 1 hour. Put the shredded cheddar on top and let it melt & brown for about 10 minutes. I also left the skin on the potatoe. MAN O MAN.....LET ME TELL YOU. This recipe is simple, delicious & is the BOMB. It's a keeper & in the Recipe Box. Thank you for sharing! (I am going to add 1/2 cup of sour cream next time)....Yummm

Cheesecake Supreme

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2003
This cheesecake is MAGNIFICENT. It was sooooo good. I have been asked many times since to make another and another. I baked it for 10 minutes on 400 then baked it the whole time on 200 for 3 hrs and 10 minutes with a water bath. I let it cool with the oven door cracked for about an hour and then let it chill in the frig over night in a 10-inch springform pan. Follow these directions precisely and you will not be disappointed. Your cheesecake will be the talk of the party. Good luck!

Apple Pecan Cobbler

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2003
I'm sorry but this recipe I did not enjoy. It was very dry and there was nothing juicy about it. It was apples with a biscuit on top. I thought cobbler was supposed to have some kind of juice in it. MOIST????? Well it didn't work for me and I followed the instructions.

Dry Rub for Ribs

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2003
This was mmm mmm good. I used the rub and used some vinegar and italian dressing and allowed my ribs to marinate over night and then threw it on they came out WONDERFUL. My friends and family kept going back for more. I also put it on my chicken and pork chops and put those on the grill. It was great. I used seasoned salt instead of white salt and it's great. Thanks Denise!
