Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2009
Used a 4 lb pork roast so added 24 oz rootbeer. Only had 1 jar bbq sauce, after shredding pork I put meat back in crockpot and added bbq sauce to rootbeer. Very good. Next time would double bbq sauce. Sandwich good with coleslaw on top of meat. Keeper.

Cream Puff Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2009
Delicious! Very light dessert. I followed other reviewers advice and made the chocolate sauce from the eclair ii recipe on this site. Also put a layer of chocolate sauce on pastry before pudding layer. Make sure to beat cream cheese with 1 pkg of pudding and slowly add milk to avoid lumps. Definitely a keeper!

Very Good! Followed other reviewers and added 1/4 cup brown sugar to marinade. I cooked my pork roast in the crockpot on high for 5 hours. Delicious! Yes, it made a great gravy. Will have leftovers as pulled pork sandwiches with the sauce.

Absolutely Delicious! I thought I already had a favorite turkey soup recipe, but thought I would try something new. I'm so glad I did, this is way better than my old stand by. New fav! Thanks.

Greek Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2008
Good. Followed other reviewers suggestion to add potatoes to chicken pan. Next time would remove the skin from the thighs to reduce fat, but very good and flavorful. Potatoes turned out beautifully soft and yet a slight crunch around the edges. Very simple dish to assemble.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2008
Best chocolate cake recipe from scratch. I have tried many with poor results. This is absolutely delicious and the texture is wonderful! I followed the recipe exactly. Will never make a boxed chocolate cake again or try another chocolate cake recipe.

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2008
Absolutely delicious & soft. Not like other bread machine recipes which are always so dense. I did mine on dough cycle and placed in 2 bread pans sprayed with cooking spray. Baked for 30 min. at 325 degrees. Next time will place in one pan to have a better sized loaf. Definitely a keeper and delicioso!

Slow Cooker Baked Beans

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2008
Best ever from scratch baked beans I've made. These turned out nice and soft and great flavor and texture. I did add more brown sugar and maple syrup for a sweeter taste. Also, added beans with water into the crockpot which may have resulted in soupier beans, but took the lid of off the crockpot for a couple of hours and turned out perfect.

Slow Cooker Taco Soup

Delicious & very hearty. I added a can of black beans and omitted the cans of diced chiles so soup would not be too hot for my little dudes. Very flavorful.

Teriyaki Marinade

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2008
Delicious! I followed other reviewers and used balsamic vinegar instead of white and also used brown sugar instead of white. I halved the recipe for 4 bone in pork chops and there was plenty of marinade. After we ate dinner I looked over the recipe and realized I forgot to put the worcestershire sauce in. It was delicious without, but next time I will try it with to see if it makes a difference. I also only used 1/2 the amount of soy sauce and the other 1/2 I used teriyaki sauce. Probably would be delicious on chicken also. Definitely a keeper.

Sausage Breakfast Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2008
Delicious! I used a no yeast pizza dough recipe, and sauteed onion & pepper w/sausage and mushrooms. I did not add tomatoes. I used cheddar cheese. I used the 4 eggs, but feel as though 6 would be a better amount. I also baked the crust 5 minutes before adding the toppings as recommended. Very very yummy!

Yummy! Easy way to prepare ham. Used 2.5 lb boneless ham and 3/4 cup brown sugar. Put 1/2 cup brown sugar on bottom of crockpot, put in ham and then rubbed with additional 1/4 cup brown sugar. Put on warm for about 45 minutes and then to low for 3.5 hours. Came home from church and dinner was ready.
