Chewy Granola Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2009
They were delicious, even my picky 8 year old ate them as well as my picky husband. I will NEVER buy store bought granola bars again, these couldn't be any easier to make. Mine came out beautifully, i packed them in tightly before baking...i also packed them midway through with a baggie on my hand but theis smeared the chocolate all over the top which wasn't necessarily a bad thing but i thin they would've looked prettier with the chips in tact. i am going to try dried apricots, wheat germ and sunflower seeds next. i love that this recipe uses real butter and no oil, that's the exact reason i tried it and you can really taste it...yummo!

Bagels I

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2007
my bagels turned out really ugly although, they tasted ok. i wish the recipe stated how long to let the dough rise because i don't think i let it rise long enough and they were really dense. my husband and son both gobbled them up.

Super Bowl Bites

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2006
i used the recommended rolls and they still came out hard. way too much onion soup mix, it overpowered the taste. Also, i would use american cheese instead of cheddar.

Sugar Cookie Cutouts

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2004
i loved working with this recipe, it was so easy and the cookies tasted great. i would cut the baking powder in 1/2 becuase it did leave a slight taste. i also rolled the dough 1" thick and cut the baking time by 2 minutes. i made homemade buttercream frosting; they were a hit.

Saucy Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2004
i added a carton of sour cream to cut the saltiness of the soup, much better that way.

Caroline and Brian's Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2004
i used regular white mushrooms instead so they were bite sized and jalapeno turkey sausage. also cut the pepper and garlic and i added 1/2 stick of butter to the breadcrumbs. i've already had 3 people ask me for the recipe.
